The site preparation and setting of foundations are fundamental to the construction of any quality building. Working closely with the family run company, Stockdale Construction we can offer the whole package when required and advise the customer on groundworks to prepare their site from site clearance and preparation through to large scale concrete floor slabs and drainage.
We set all our own foundations to ensure that our buildings erect safely, quickly and precisely. The foundations usually consist of a concrete “pad” which is excavated and then poured with concrete according to the specification of the building. Into that concrete, we set holding down bolts which the building columns will be bolted to in the first phase of erection. This is the safest and most efficient way of preparing the foundations. We can bolt smaller buildings directly to concrete floor slabs.
